Percentage of liquid phase = XZ/XY * 100
XZ = 37.5 - 36.8 = 0.7
XY = 37.5 - 32.5 = 5
= 0.7/5 * 100 = 14%
When the liquid reacts with the crystals precipitated out of liquid and forms new type of crystals.
